National Parents Day 2020 Finalists Announced
The National Selection Committee selected the twelve finalists to the National Parents Day 2020 sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) USA together with American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC), Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), The Washington Times Foundation (TWTF) and the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) USA.
Twelve couples emerged as finalists from twenty-eight nominations coming from different states and from different organizations.

| 6 | Governor Larry and Mrs. Yumi Hogan – Maryland |
| 7 | Pastor Stephen and Lady Frances Lomax – South Carolina |
| 8 | Bishop Kenneth and Mrs. Rachel Lyons – Pennsylvania |
| 9 | Mr. Nat and Mrs. Yin Yin Huang Nehdar – California |
| 10 | Talib and Tahirah Shareef – Washington, D.C. |
| 11 | Mr. Ajaykumar and Mrs. Purviben Vansia – North Carolina |
| 12 | Mayor Jermaine and Mrs. Jennifer Wilson – Kansas |
From among the finalists, a couple will be selected as the Outstanding Parents of the Year 2020 and will b recognized via a virtual awarding ceremony slated on Sunday, July 26th from 4 PM.
